Public Communications Office of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University is responsible for planning and implementation of both internal and external communication policy.
Public Communications Office comprises two subdivisions - Communications and Editorial.
The Communications subdivision is currently responsible for public communications (external and internal) – preparing press releases and videos, organizing and ordering advertising in press, radio, television and other media. The team is also responsible for the University promotional products. The Communications subdivision advises the University community on publishing, marketing, advertising and public relations issues.
The Editorial subdivision is responsible for the preparation and publishing of VGTU periodicals (organizing of information, attendance at events) as well as articles to the national media. Currently the University publishes three periodical publications - the newspaper "Engineering" and the magazine "Gediminas University” for the university community and a new magazine for graduates "Sapere Aude”, which has appeared this year. The Editorial subdivision also provides editing services in Lithuanian and English for the VGTU community and is responsible for the University event photos.
